The Prince will do anything to avoid public review of his mega-compound! The City has told the Prince repeatedly that environmental review is required by law, and has requested a complete grading plan, drainage plan, a valid and complete protected tree survey, a fire safety and emergency vehicle access plan and evidence of compliance with a private street approval so it can evaluate the tremendous impacts from the proposed over 80,000 square foot mega-compound in Benedict Canyon.
Yet the Prince is still TRYING TO AVOID PROVIDING THE INFORMATION AND TRYING TO AVOID ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW!
In his latest attempt to skirt the laws that we all have to follow, the Prince and his team almost got away with doing an end-run around the City’s Fire Code. The issue? The Prince’s mega-compound must provide a second access point for fire engines. Influenced by the Prince's lawyers, the Fire Department waived the requirement - a violation of its own procedures.
